ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULE
These close/open times are based on 3:00/min mile pace for first racer (handcrank)
and 14 minute per mile pace for slowest, combined with the added time it takes for
barrier removal.
Important notes:
* Expect large gaps after first racer; allow cross traffic carefully.
* Slower runners might fall behind the reopen times shown here. In such
cases, the runners are pedestrians responsible for heeding normal traffic
laws; roads will be reopened for traffic (this is the table of times used
by the trailing CHP car to reopen course to traffic).
* The finish line area around 8th, 9th, and 10th Streets and Capitol Mall will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
