2.62-Mile maraFUNrun and Fitness Walk

Adults and children can join the fun and excitement of the California International Marathon by participating in the 24th Annual 2.62-mile Kaiser Permanente maraFUNrun and Fitness Walk, on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 8 a.m. at 8th St. and Capitol Mall. All finishers will receive a ribbon.

The maraFUNrun and Fitness Walk is open to all ages.

You will cross the same finish line as the marathoners and afterwards you can watch the first marathoners finish beginning around 9 a.m. The Kaiser Permanente 2.62-Mile maraFUNrun is also the grand finale of the CIM Youth Fitness Program, a free program offered to Sacramento-area youth groups and individuals. EVENT LOCATION:

9th and Capitol Mall near the State Capitol building downtown Sacramento.

COURSE:

The 2.62-Mile course follows the last miles of the marathon course and crosses the same finish line as marathoners.

Registration opens March 1.
All entry fees include processing fees (no hidden costs!).

For kids 13 and under

Online registration by Nov. 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST: FREE
At the CIM Sports and Fitness Expo: $10
On Race Day (6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.): $15

For all others

Online registration by Nov. 18 at 11:59 p.m. PST: $15
At the CIM Sports and Fitness Expo: $20
On Race Day (6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.): $25

Run Details

PARKING:

There is plenty of free parking and pay commercial parking available.

DIVISIONS:

Open to all runners/walkers/children.
No division awards or results.

FITNESS AND FUN:

The Kaiser Permanente maraFUNrun/Fitness Walk is held in the spirit of fun and fitness. A display clock will be at the finish but times will not be recorded and there will be no posted results.

AWARDS:

Top three (3) female and male runners.

T-SHIRTS:

To all participants.

HOSPITALITY:

Food, fun, drinks & entertainment at the finish line.
