Marathon Entry Information

Marathon Registration

Due to its excellent race organization and fast course, the California International Marathon has always been a favorite event for first time marathoners, fitness runners, and especially for runners seeking a PR, a Boston Marathon or Olympic Marathon Trials qualifying standard. As we have seen our entries fill each year before the entry deadline, event management has made some changes to ensure we can make CIM entries available for all levels of runners. In order to do this, the entry fees and deadlines have been adjusted as described below. Also, runners who wish to enter later in the year will be able to do so if they have achieved CIM entry standards described below.

Note that: the CIM entry fees have not been increased, include the processing fees, and are lower than most marathons.

Marathon Entry Fees

The California International Marathon entry fees are are nonrefundable and will not be applied to future events under any circumstances. The entries may not be transferred under any circumstances.

In 2012, entries filled in late October, so enter early to avoid disappointment.
