Event finish of which you are most proud and why: This spring a group of us, lead by James Barstad, decided to run the rim-to-rim-to-rim of the Grand Canyon. While it is not an organized "event" it took a lot of organization to pull it off and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I've said more than once, if there had been a bus at the north rim, I'd have been on it as I knew what I had in front of me for the return trip. What an awesome experience to take that final step back onto the south rim after over 15 hours on my feet. Great scenery, great friends, and wow, a great day!

Ultra marathon awards: two Western States buckles, 2002 and 2005.
Other pacing experiences: I have paced CIM for 8 years, San Diego/Carlsbad twice, Salt Lake city once, and just recently I was the course closer for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco.
Event finish of which you are most proud and why: Crossing the line in 2002 at my first Western States was a pretty special day for me. The feeling of finishing 100 miles was awesome, but what made it even better is that my dear sister Denise was able to be there. I'll never forget that day.
Other hobbies: God, food, anything outdoors!
Anything else you think your Pace Group would like to know about you: I always have fun and try to encourage everyone else to have a great day out there. You'd be surprised at how fast the time goes when you are spending it with like minded people, even though you've never met them before!
