Event finish(es) of which you are most proud and why: The Bear 100 2011. This was my 2nd 100 this year and my 6th overall. It was by far the toughest race for me. Both mentally and physically. The course is extremely challenging overall. I ran on my own with no pacer and just drop bags. The race was point to point starting in Logan, Utah and ending in Idaho at Bear Lake. I battled stomach issues all night long as well as freezing temperatures. I had to dig deep the whole race. I pulled it off with iron will and determination. It is something that I will never forget.
Other experiences: Western states 2007,2010, Rio Del Lago 2007, The Bear 100 2009, San Diego 100, 2011, The Bear 100 2011 Miwok 100k (6 plus), AR50 (7 plus), Lake Sonoma 50 twice, Cool 50k (6 plus), Quad Dipsea, Sequoia 50k, Stinson Beach 50k, Tahoe Rim 50k (3 plus), Muir Beach 50k.
